I was inspired by Mama Mia! I thought, if they can take all the songs of Abba and turn that into a musical, why can’t I do that with Neil Diamond songs? So I re-wrote Romeo & Juliet and mashed it up with 16 Neil Diamond Songs. It’s all written, I have the copyright to my rewrite. I just need Neil’s permission to use his songs.
